mike field photography - welcome
I have been interested in photography for about the last forty-five years, but as life happens I have only been serious about it for the last five years. During that time I have shared my photos with relatives, friends and whoever I could get to look at them. Fortunately for me they were all very encouraging. I found the more I shared the more I learned about vision and the technical side of photography.
I decided to create this web site so I could share my visions with a wider audience and continue developing my vision and technical skills from your observations and comments. While I don’t consider myself an artist perhaps in the future I may develop more the characteristics of an artist with your contribution. I also am hopeful that you will gain an increased insight and value of our truly miraculous environment as we are passing through it and make some personal effort to help preserve it for the future.
I use 35mm digital equipment as it accommodates my natural work style better than other formats and it allows me the opportunity of using a darkroom without the chemicals.
